THE PROGRAM
The aim of the program is to provide structured support, tailored to the individuals enabling them to excel in their sporting career.
- Build the states capacity to achieve at an international level by developing and maintaining a talent identification program and junior squads to support athletes for the future.
- Increase the performance level of elite athletes by providing a range of support services.
- Produce athletes achieving podium finished at international benchmark events.
- Contribute to Gymnastics Australia High performance outcomes by producing athletes that are competitive at an international standard.
KACHAN SCHOOL OF TUMBLING AND PERFORMANCE
Kachan School of Tumbling & Performance is a family run business that has been operating since 2009. Owners Dzmitry & Rebecca are continually developing the club, ensuring the gym has the latest equipment and training aids to assist all levels of athletes.
KSTP has been recognized as one of the most sophisticated training clubs in Australia for the sport of tumbling. Offering programs from kindy age through to Senior International, the club is home to multiple international world medallists and has a solid underpinning program.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
The squad consists of a maximum of 15 athletes, actively competing in the discipline of tumbling. The program is non-centralised and meets a minimum of 4 times per year. Training sessions all take place at the named high performance centre, Kachan School of Tumbling & Performance.
